Corporate Tour Overview

Tours for local businesses will provide employees an immersive and emotionally engaging experience.  Your employees will experience a unique tour designed to provide learning of traditional knowledge with an emphasis on the cultural and medicinal uses of plants.

A brief history of Syilx Captikʷł and the story of “How Food Was Given” is included, along with the opportunity to learn to identify traditional plants, understand how these plants are used for medicinal and food purposes, and to see demonstrations of how to harvest and use the plants.

The tour presenter will provide short workshop on an Indigenous garden product and how it is grown, harvested and made into a gift.
